As a Graduate Trader, your main responsibilities will include collaborating with other Traders and Engineers in the design, optimisation and operation of our automated trading systems and trading strategies. Guided by senior trading staff, throughout the entirety of the program you’ll have the opportunity to research new trading opportunities and learn how to navigate their associated risks. You’ll also learn how to model the behaviour of the financial markets and how to optimise our trading algorithms for greater success.

As a Graduate Software Engineer, you’ll collaborate with Engineers and Traders to design, design, build and maintain high-performance trading systems. From day one, you’ll be working with our senior engineers and the wider team to contribute to platforms that drive our automated trading systems. We will help you cultivate the skills and expertise necessary for spotting avenues to improve and support our trading strategies.

Our Summer Trading Internship is designed for university students eager to learn more about the trading industry. The program will provide valuable exposure to the trading industry and develop your analytical and decision-making skills. You’ll gain hands-on experience working in real trading and simulated environments where you’ll have a tangible impact on our company through contributing to meaningful projects aligned with Photon's strategic goals.
